163rd Military Police Company holds 2nd annual SWAT Challenge at Fort Campbell

Fort Campbell, KY – The 163rd Military Police Company, 716th MP Battalion, 101st Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) conducted its 2019 SWAT Challenge at Fort Campbell, March 15th, 2019.

The SWAT Challenge was a five-part competition that tested the physical, tactical, and technical capabilities of the Fort Campbell Special Reaction Team, Clarksville Police Department Team and Montgomery County Sheriffs Office Tactical Team.

Rory Kennedy (on rifle) and Charles Hunt (on spotting scope) work together March 15 to identify a target during the SWAT Challenge at Fort Campbell, Ky. Kennedy and Hunt are both law enforcement officers with the Montgomery County (Tenn.) Sheriff’s Office. Clarksville Police Special Operation Unit along with ABC Agents seize $35,000 worth of Beer

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, July 39th, 2015, Alcohol Beverage Control Agents, along with Narcotics Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operation Unit, conducted an alcohol search warrant at the Golf Club Food Mart at 2116 Golf Club Lane, seizing the entire beer inventory.

The store has been cited for selling alcohol to persons under 21 on four different occasions, dating back to May of 2014.

Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from April 3rd, 2015

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On April 3rd, 2015, the Alcohol Beverage Control Agents (ABC) of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Compliance Checks were done at 20 stores with 19 stores found to be in compliance and 1 store cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons. These types of operations are ongoing in an effort to stop the sales of alcohol to underage persons. Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, February 26th, 2015 Agents of the Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Control in conjunction with Alcohol Beverage Control Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting the sale of alcohol to underage persons.

Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit targets Internet Prostitution on Back Page.com

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On December 11th, 2014 and January 2nd, 2015, Vice Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting Internet prostitution on Back Page.com.

Seven arrests were made that included charges of Prostitution, Promoting Prostitution, Possession of a Handgun by a Felon, Possession of Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia.

Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from December 4th, 2014

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, December 4th, 2014, Alcohol Beverage Control Agents (ABC) of the Clarksville Police Departments Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Compliance checks were conducted at eleven restaurants. Nine restaurants were found to be in compliance and two restaurants were cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons. Clarksville Police, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies efforts lead to capture of TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted, Danyon Dowlen

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – A joint effort between the Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S Marshals has lead to the apprehension of one of TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted, Danyon Lydell Dowlen.

On Monday, Clarksville Police Officer, Ryan Steinlage received a citizen tip about Dowlen possibly being in the Evansville, Indiana area and passed the information onto the lead investigator, Detective Demone Chestnut.

Clarksville Police Department Puts 11 New Officers on the Payroll

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On December 1st, 2010, at 9:30am, there were 11 new Police Officers welcomed to the ranks of the Clarksville Police Department by City Officials, families, friends, and fellow Police Officers. The officers were Sworn-In by Clarksville’s Mayor John E. Piper.

The new officers are John Burdge, Matthew Ferrell, Christopher Robinson, Ryan Steinlage, Christy Arwood, Todd Bell, James Atkins, Avery Lambert, Kyle Fleming, Brittany Boisseau, and Morgan Northrup.

11 New Officers to Be Sworn-In

 

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – There will be 11 new officers sworn-in by Mayor Johnny Piper, Wednesday, December 1st, 2010, 9:00am, in the Mayor’s Conference Room. This is the largest group of new officers to be sworn-in since 2003.

The new officers to be sworn-in are: Ryan Steinlage, Matthew Ferrell, James Atkins, Christy Arwood, Christopher Robinson, Avery Lambert, Brittany Boisseau, Kyle Fleming, John Burdge, Todd Bell, and Morgan Northrup.
