APSU’s Dr. Sharon Mabry serves as Master Teacher and lecturer at Southern Illinois University

 

APSU - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Dr. Sharon Mabry, mezzo-soprano and professor of music at APSU, was invited by Southern Illinois University in Carbondale for a Master Teacher residency in vocal performance.

In this capacity, she worked with SIU’s voice faculty and classical vocal majors, as well as several students from the musical theatre program.

Manager Steve Scarsone Returns For Second Season

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds 2016 coaching staff was named by the Oakland Athletics today and is highlighted by the return of Manager Steve Scarsone.

Scarsone, 49, enters his eighth season in the Oakland organization and fourth consecutive campaign as manager of the club’s top affiliate. His coaching staff will consist of pitching coach Rick Rodriguez, hitting coach Eric Martins, trainer Brad LaRosa and strength and conditioning coach A.J. Seeliger. LaRosa joins Scarsone as the only returning member from the 2015 coaching staff.

Austin Peay State University announces Lady Govs 2013-14 Basketball Schedule

 

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUClarksville, TN – Thirteen home games will dot Austin Peay State University women’s basketball schedule in 2013-14, head coach Carrie Daniels announced July 15th.

With a roster dominated by underclassmen – 11 of the 15 Lady Govs are freshmen or sophomores – Daniels set out to prepare a non-conference schedule that will provide opportunities for wins while also testing her team.
