Clarksville Police Hostage Negotiators, Tactical Team now on scene with Suicidal Man

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department Officers, Hostage Negotiators and the Tactical Team are on scene of the suicidal man. Negotiation is in progress.

The man’s truck was located in the area of 2838 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. The parking lot surrounding Red Lobster, South Hampton, North Edgewood and and a portion of Wilma Rudolph is still closed to traffic.

Updates will be provided when a change of status occur.

Clarksville Police are searching for Suicidal Woman Amber Jagers with her Three Month Old Child

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are looking for Amber Jagers, a suicidal woman, white/female, age 36, height 5’1, with Blue eyes and Brown Hair, who was last known to be in the company of her three month old female child, Eva Lynn Jagers.

Amber Jagers is claiming to be armed and threatening to harm herself. She is believed to be in a 2002 Black, Ford Escape, TN Tag BQV-038.

Clarksville Police Officers Save Suicidal Man

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – A distraught man was saved from harming himself and others when Clarksville Police Officers worked together to diffuse the situation and prevent potential serious injury or death.

It was around 2:15pm, Sunday, July 22nd, 2018 when Clarksville Police Officers were called to the bridge at 101st Parkway and Fort Campbell Boulevard. There were multiple calls to 911 about a man in his late 30s sitting, dangling his feet over the cement barrier of the bridge and a woman was standing next to him.

Clarksville Police Department & Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office work together to take Suicidal Man into Custody

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, March 1st 2018, around 3:30pm, the 911 Center received a call about a man threatening suicide and reportedly had a gun. When officers arrived the man fled into a field at the end of Huntco Drive. At some point, a firearm was displayed but, the man never pointed it at anyone except himself.

The area surrounding the field was cordoned off by officers and Crisis Negotiators and The Tactical Unit were called out to the scene.

Suicidal Man was taken into Custody this morning by Clarksville Police Department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Clarksville Police charge Suicidal Man with Intoxicated

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On Saturday, March 16th, Clarksville Police responded to a 911 call about a man with a gun. A perimeter was set up to contain the man and officers evacuated neighbors in the surrounding houses. Around 4:47pm, Tactical Unit members were able to subdue the man.

The man, Gerald Bakker, was charged last night around 7:00pm for possession of a firearm while under the influence and public intoxication.

Clarksville Police subdued Suicidal Man with gun who wanted a battle with Police

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On March 16th, 2013, around 3:15pm, Clarksville Police responded to a 911 call about a man with a gun on Klines Alley who wanted a gun battle with Police.

Officer Patrick Wyatt was the first officer to arrive and saw an intoxicated 66 year old man sitting on the porch of a West Washington Street (Klines Alley and West Washington Street intersect) residence holding a rifle.

Clarksville Police respond to Suicidal Man on Clearwater Drive

 

The quiet of the night was disrupted as Clarksville Police officers responded to a suicidal man at a Clearwater Drive residence.

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On Monday, November 12th, around 6:11pm, Clarksville Police Officers were called to Clearwater Drive in reference to a suicidal, 45 year old man. Police received information the retired military man, who suffered from PTSD and attempted suicide before, was armed with a 22 rifle and had put it in his mouth.

The wife and children left the residence so he was the only one inside.

Clarksville Police Negotiate Suicidal Man out of residence on Vanessa Drive

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On July 17th, 2012, around 5:45am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a residence at the 1300 Block of Vanessa Drive in reference to a 20 year old man threatening suicide.

Clarksville Police arrest Suicidal Subject after he Discharges Firearm while Officers are Outside the Residence

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On June 15th, 2012, around 1:00am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a suicidal person call at 101 East Street. The caller told 911 call takers he was going to hurt himself and had several loaded guns inside of the residence.

When officers arrived, they could hear objects being broken inside of the house. The 911 call takers told the man, Jonathan Lamon, that officers were outside of the residence. He turned off the porch and living room lights, went outside, and discharged a rifle round into the air.
