I’ve seen a lot of young people in Clarksville use sports as a vehicle to advance their education.  Baseball, football, soccer, tennis and golf are typically the activities you see kids participating in.  But, rodeo?

Montgomery County Shooting Complex to host 2016 Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS)

 

2016 Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS) Set June 12th-17th

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The Seventh Annual Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS), will be June 12th-17th, 2016 for high school students from across Tennessee. The students will be introduced to many outdoor activities at the event to be held at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex near Clarksville.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation are partnering to host this year’s event.

6th Annual Tennessee Outdoors Summit (TOYS) to be held at Montgomery County Shooting Complex

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will host the Sixth Annual Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS), June 7th-12th, 2015 for high school students from across Tennessee. The students will be introduced to many outdoor activities at the event to be held at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex near Clarksville, TN.

Among the different outdoor activities that the students will have an opportunity to become introduced to will include boating, hunting, trapping, archery, photography, marksmanship, plant identification, forestry, camping, water quality, trap shooting, skeet shooting, wildlife identification, and several classes with wildlife and fish biology as the topic. Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced there is space available for those wishing to attend the Fourth Annual Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS), June 9th-14th, 2013. The summit is for high school students from across Tennessee.

The application deadline has been extended to May 10th, 2013.
