Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 around 8:00pm, a 53 year old man driving a Ford F350 pickup was stopped for a redlight in the southbound lane of US 79N near Cracker Barrel Drive when, for an unknown reason, a 65 year old woman driving a Chevy Cavalier, traveling southbound, collided into the rear-end of the stationary Ford F350.
Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015 at 12:33am, Clarksville Police Officer L. Harris responded to a crash at US-79 (Wilma Rudolph Boulevard) and Terminal Road.
A pedestrian entered the southbound travel lanes on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard for an unknown reason. The driver of a Nissan Pathfinder attempted to avoid striking the pedestrian by going left. The Pathfinder struck the pedestrian resulting in fatal injuries.

Clarksville, TN – On Friday night, October 24th, 2014 at 8:29pm, Clarksville Police Officer Larry Harris responded to a crash at US-79 (Wilma Rudolph Boulevard) and Fairview Lane.
A vehicle and a motorcycle struck each other in the continuous left turn lane. At this time, it cannot be determined which vehicle had the right of way.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Friday, October 10th through Wednesday October 15th, from 8:00pm-6:00am, there will be alternating lane closures on SR 12 (Ashland City Road) from just east of Cumberland Drive to the SR 76 (Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy) intersection.
One lane will remain open in each direction.
Clarksville, TN – Ward 2 Clarksville City Councilman Deanna McLaughlin officially launched her campaign for re-election after qualifying for re-election on May 28th.
McLaughlin has represented Ward 2 on the Clarksville City Council since 2007 and was re-elected to a second term in 2010. Ward 2 was redistricted in 2011 and now extends to neighborhoods to the east and west of Fort Campbell Boulevard (US 41A), neighborhoods between Saratoga and Hillsboro roads and between Cunningham Lane and Dover Road (US 79).
Clarksville Police report on Sunday’s Multiple Vehicle Accident at Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Center Point Drive
Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, December 9th, 2013 at 6:37pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a crash at US-79 (Wilma Rudolph Boulevard) and Center Pointe Drive. All vehicles and witnesses were traveling southbound on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
Ms. Hoffman (witness) stated she saw an unknown object fall out of the back of a non-contact Vehicle; a 1989 Chevrolet S10, driven by Michael A. Poole. A scrap passenger side front vehicle door was found lying in the southbound Wilma Rudolph right travel lane. «Read the rest of this article»
Clarksville Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol will be out doing DUI Checkpoints and Saturation Patrols May 25th-26th
Clarksville, TN – The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, and the Clarksville Police Department will be conducting roadside safety checkpoints on May 25th, 2012 and May 26th, 2012 in Montgomery County.
The locations of the checkpoints will be on U.S. 41-A and U.S. 79, as well as, State Routes 12, 13, 48, and 76.
