Knoxville, TN – With only two regular-season games remaining, Tennessee will look to finish the year strong as the Vols head west to Nashville for a Saturday, December 14th showdown with in-state rival Vanderbilt at 3:00pm CT.
The Vols are looking to make it two straight wins over the Commodores after a 28-10 victory inside Neyland Stadium last season.
Saturday’s game will be broadcast on the SEC Network with Taylor Zarzour (PxP), Matt Stinchcomb (analyst) and Dawn Davenport (sideline) calling the action.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Chargers share a long and storied history. The two teams, founding members of the American Football League, have met 46 times since 1960. The Chargers lead the series 28-17-1.
Most recently, the Titans played the franchise’s first overseas game against the Chargers in London on October 21st, 2018. A touchdown pass from Marcus Mariota to tight end Luke Stocker put the Titans behind by one point with 31 seconds remaining.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Volunteers dropped their final game of the regular season to Vanderbilt, 38-13, Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium.
After trading punts to start the game, the Commodores (6-6, 3-5 SEC) took a 17-0 lead heading into the half. Tennessee (5-7, 2-6 SEC) fought back to pull within 10 points in the third thanks to sophomore running back Ty Chandler, but Vanderbilt outscored the Vols 21-6 in the final quarter.
Vandy quarterback Kyle Shurmur threw for 367 yards (31-of-35) and three touchdowns while Khari Blasingame rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Vols Football team wraps up its regular-season schedule on Saturday with an in-state showdown at SEC East rival Vanderbilt in what will be a battle for bowl eligibility.
Kickoff for Saturday’s game at Vanderbilt Stadium is set for 3:00pm CT on the SEC Network. Nashville, TN – Vanderbilt 6-6 (3-5) topped No. 24/24 Tennessee 8-4 (4-4) in an offensive slug fest on Saturday, taking a 45-34 win over the Volunteers at Vanderbilt Stadium.
The Vols (8-4, 4-4 SEC) and the Commodores (6-6, 3-5 SEC) traded scores all night before Vanderbilt pulled away with a 14-point fourth quarter. Tennessee, which is No. 19 in the College Football Playoff rankings, led 31-24 at the half. Vanderbilt outscored UT 21-3 in the second half.
On the final play of the second quarter, junior defensive end Derek Barnett registered his career-best 12th sack of the season and the 32nd of his career to tie the great Reggie White for the most career sacks in Tennessee history.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans and San Diego Chargers share a long and storied history. The two teams, founding members of the American Football League who originally existed as the Houston Oilers and Los Angeles Chargers, have met 44 times since 1960. The Chargers lead the series 26-17-1.
On September 18th, 1960, the two clubs met for the Oilers’ inaugural home game at Houston’s Jeppesen Stadium. The Oilers won that match-up 38-28.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans and Minnisota Vikings have met just 12 times in the regular season. The Vikings lead the series 8-4, including wins by the Vikings in the last four meetings at Mall of America Field.
The Titans and Vikings have opened the regular season against each other on one prior occasion. In 1989, the Vikings hosted and defeated the then-Oilers on Kickoff Weekend by a final score of 38-7. It was the first of 10 victories during the regular season for the eventual NFC Central Champion Vikings.

Birmingham, AL – The Southeastern Conference Network announced Thursday televised game times for the 2015 football season’s first three weekends and Austin Peay State University will travel to Vanderbilt Saturday, September 19th, for a 3:00pm contest at Vanderbilt Stadium.
