Clarksville, TN -Austin Peay State University right fielder Nick Walker and catcher Alex Sala each hit first-inning home runs to lead APSU’s baseball team back from a four-run deficit to post a 19-5 nonconference win against the Lipscomb Bisons, Tuesday night at Raymond C. Hand Park.
After Lipscomb scored four runs in the top of the first, APSU (29-20) replied by sending nine men to the plate in the bottom of the frame.

APSU Baseball surges back in the ninth to beat Lipscomb 14-11

Clarksville, TN – In his final home at-bat, Austin Peay State University baseball third baseman Alex Robles hit a walk-off grand slam to complete a massive Governors comeback win, 14-11, against Lipscomb, Wednesday afternoon at Raymond C. Hand Park.
Austin Peay (22-25) faced a daunting 11-6 deficit entering its half of the ninth inning. The Govs began chipping away at that deficit as the first six batters reached base safely.

Lipscomb Bisons rally late to defeat APSU Governors Baseball, 8-7

Nashville, TN – Lipscomb rallied for four runs in the bottom of the ninth, finishing with a two-out, walk-off single to defeat Austin Peay State University’s baseball team, 8-7, Tuesday night at Dugan Field.
A pitcher’s duel through seven innings opened up in the final two frames as both Austin Peay and Lipscomb scored five runs apiece.

APSU Baseball Govs beat Lipscomb Bisons, 11-8

Clarksville, TN – Right fielder Chase Hamilton hit a grand slam and third baseman Logan Gray hit a two-run home run as Austin Peay State University’s baseball team powered its way past Lipscomb, 11-8 in Tuesday night nonconference action at Raymond C. Hand Park.
Austin Peay starter John Sparks (1-1) worked out of a jam after allowing the first two Lipscomb batters to reach base. He would surrender just one run on back-to-back fielder’s choice plays before catcher Ridge Smith ended the frame by throwing out a runner at second base.
