Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Fort Defiance to host pre-Civil War event

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Fort Defiance Interpretive Center, located at 120 Duncan Street, is excited to present “Sevier Days,” an 18th century, pre-Civil War event, Saturday, September 28th, 2013 from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Attractions include: flintlock musket firing demonstrations, flint knapper making Indian arrowheads, and authentic blacksmith operation and frontier camp life.
