Nashville Zoo to hold Harvest Days September 27th and 28th

 

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Come welcome the arrival of fall at Nashville Zoo’s Harvest Days set for September 27th and 28th. The annual festival celebrating the tradition of harvest season features live music, activities, special animal presentations and more.

Harvest Days take place around the Zoo’s Croft Home. Blacksmiths, weavers, woodcarvers and other artisans will be demonstrating 19th century trades, while guests try their hand at old-time activities, such as cider making and butter churning.

Clarksville Civil War RoundtableClarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, September 18th, 2013 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Gateway Medical Center.

This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.  The meeting begins at 7:00 pm and is always open to the public.  Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.
