Clarksville, TN – With a break in the team schedule this week, a quartet of Austin Peay State University men’s golfers will compete as individuals at the Phoenix Invitational at Old Hickory Country Club in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
Senior Hunter Tidwell, junior Sean Butscher and freshmen Jay Fox and Garrett Whitfield will represent the Govs at the event, with all but Fox set to make their spring debut.
At 6,617 yards, the par 71 course has a slope rating of 128 with Hybrid Bermuda grass fairways and Mini-Verde Bermuda Grass greens.
This will be the first appearance in this tournament by Austin Peay student-athletes.
