Clarksville Police Department
Clarksville, TN – On Sunday morning, August 19th, 2018 around 7:00am, Clarksville Police responded to a Granny White Road address for a shooting already occurred.
When CPD Officers arrived on scene, they found a 17 year old male who had sustained a gunshot wound and was deceased. The investigation revealed Nautica Ann Spincer, 18, of Clarksville had been playing with a firearm which initially was unloaded.
Later, unknown to Spicer, the firearm had been loaded. She pointed it at the juvenile, pulled the trigger, discharging the firearm resulting in the death of the teenager.
She left the scene with the firearm, disassembled it, and discarded the pieces of the firearm at several different locations. Kerigan Leann Silverwood, 18 was also at the scene when the death of the juvenile occurred.
The investigation showed Silverwood assisted in taking the firearm apart and driving Spicer to different locations to discard the pieces of the firearm.
Nautica Ann Spicer and Kerigan Leann Silverwood were friends with the juvenile.
Nautica Ann Spicer was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with Criminal Homicide and Tampering with Evidence. Her bond is set at $750,000.
Kerigan Leann Silverwood was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with Tampering with Evidence. Her bond is set at $250,000. Both were booked around 8:00pm.
The lead investigator is Detective Cunningham.
