Clarksville Police arrest Five in Homicide, Attempted Murder Cases

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have arrested five men in conjunction with the homicide of Joshua Ellis, age 32, on Givens Lane and the attempted murder of another man, 29 years old in Summit Heights on July 21st, 2019.

On July 21st, around 9:00pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shooting already occurred. When officers arrived, they found Joshua Ellis, laying on the ground and he had been shot. He was taken by Life Flight to a Nashville area hospital and died the next morning.

Clarksville Police release names of Domestic Related Homicide

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police say the married man and woman that died last night at 1203 Dandelion Court in the domestic related homicide were:

Tony Brown, age 56, believed to be the shooter and was found by officers deceased inside of the garage.

Janie Brown, age 50, found on the porch and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, September 5th, 2019, around 8:55pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shots fired call at a Dandelion Court residence.

When the first officers arrived, there was gunfire heard coming from inside of the garage. There had been a man and woman that had been struck by gunfire located outside of the residence.

The woman was on the porch and the man was in a neighbor’s yard.

Clarksville Police report Two Men Shot While in Moving Vehicle

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are processing a crime scene near 101st Airborne Division Parkway at the intersection of Peachers Mill Road and McClardy Road.

Based on information provided by witnesses, around 3:30pm, a white Dodge Charger with two men inside, was traveling south on Peachers Mill Road when a male inside of another white Dodge Charger, 2000s model, also traveling south started shooting at the two men.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Blake Ludy captured

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reports that Blake Thomas Ludy has been taken into custody at 10:05pm by multiple agencies in Greenbrier, Tennessee.

MCSO would like to thank the Greenbrier Police Department, Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol for their assistance in apprehending Ludy.

Ludy was wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for the shooting that occurred Sunday morning at Rotary Park.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigates Sunday morning Shooting Death at Rotary Park

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Early this morning, Sunday, July 28th, 2019, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a shooting that occurred in Rotary Park.

One victim with non-life threatening injuries has been treated and released from a hospital.

It appears that all three men know each other so therefore this incident is not considered a random act of violence.

Blake Thomas Ludy is a suspect in a shooting that occurred at approximately 4:00am, Sunday at Rotary Park.

Clarksville Police are investigating Iris Lane Shooting

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to a call to Iris Lane on Friday, July 26th, 2019, around 11:50pm, for a shooting that had already occurred.

When officers arrived, they found a 25 year old man inside of a vehicle who had been shot.

He was transported by Lifeflight to a Nashville area hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Clarksville Police charge Jackie Davis in College Street Shooting

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have changed a man with Tampering With Evidence in conjunction with the homicide investigation being conducted into the shooting at 1006 College Street.

Jackie DeWayne Davis, age 29, was seen on video surveillance picking up items up off the ground, presumably shell casings, and removing them from the scene just prior to police arriving on scene.

Clarksville Police reports One College Street Shooting Victim Dies

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that one of the men shot Wednesday night, July 25th, 2019, Eric Hardy, age 26, of Clarksville, that was found on the parking lot of 1006 College Street, died at Tennova Healthcare after succumbing to his injuries.

The other man, 44 years old, is still hospitalized and in critical condition. His name will not be released at this time.

Clarksville Police report Two Persons shot on College Street

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday night, July 24th, 2019, Clarksville Police responded to a shooting that had already occurred at 1006 College Street around 9:30pm. The first officer arrived within a minute of the call being dispatched.

When he arrived, the scene was chaotic and there was a mass exodus of people leaving the parking lot. There was one man found in the parking lot who had been shot and a short time later, police were made aware there was another shooting victim in the area of 1030 Main Street.

Clarksville Police are investigating  a shooting that happened Wednesday night on College Street.
