Austin Peay and UT Martin faced off in Clarksville last Wednesday, and the Governors emerged on top in both matches, 5-0, 4-1.
The Govs dominated in their first doubleheader against the Skyhawks and through ten pairings, only three came to a three-set finish.
The Skyhawks (3-15) have lost their past eight matches, including a doubleheader against an ASUN foe North Alabama, 1-4, 2-3, last Friday. Austin Peay (10-12 4-4 ASUN) split its final matches of conference play against Jacksonville State and Coastal Carolina to remain .500 in the conference.
The Governors will head to Martin looking to take a season sweep against the Skyhawks before heading home to begin the Governors Beach Bash this weekend. Be sure to follow the Govs on Twitter @AustinPeayBVB for updates on their match against UT Martin.
