U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn has busy week in Tennessee

 

U.S. SenateWashington, D.C. – The U.S. Senate may be out of session, but Senator Marsha Blackburn hasn’t slowed down one bit! The Senator is spending August in Tennessee meeting with the people she serves and working to determine what she can do in the Senate to make each day better for her state.

Her state visits began in West Tennessee, where she met with fishermen and local officials at Sinclair’s Fish Market in Paris to discuss the problems posed by Asian carp. Senator Blackburn then stopped by UT Martin to meet with Chancellor Keith Carver and members of their Army ROTC program.

APSU Women's VolleyballClarksville, TN – The Ohio Valley Conference has announced the addition of beach volleyball as the 19th-sponsored conference sport, with the league to hold its first championship in the event in 2020.

APSU Football single-game tickets now on sale

 

APSU FootballClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) football 2019 season single-game tickets are now on sale for the, which features six home games at Fortera Stadium for the first time since 2003.

Single-game tickets start at $15.00 for general admission seats and $25.00 for reserved seating.

APSU Football’s Kentel Williams, Kyle Anderton named Preseason All-OVC

 

APSU FootballNashville, TN – On Monday, July 22nd, 2019, during OVC Football Media Day, it was announced that Austin Peay State University (APSU) senior running back Kentel Williams and redshirt senior offensive tackle Kyle Anderton were named Preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference.

Williams earns his first career Preseason All-OVC selection after being named First-Team All-OVC in 2018 when he led the FCS with a 7.99 yards per carry average.
