Last Time Against Lees-McRae

This will be Austin Peay’s first meeting with Lees-McRae.

Keep An Eye On

After surrendering 95 points in the first exhibition against Union, expect Matt Figger‘s defense to turn up the intensity against the Bobcats.

With Antwuan Butler unavailable in the first contest, Carlos Paez was the only freshman to reach double digits, finishing with 11 points against Union.

Preseason Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year Terry Taylor. Not necessarily because he can add to any of his eye-popping career totals in this game, but because one of the greatest players in program history should be seen.

Evan Hinson led the APSU Govs with five assists in the last exhibition contest; his court vision freed up preseason Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year to score 27 points to lead the Govs.

Twenty-three of Austin Peay’s final 27 points against Union came via newcomers, with freshman Jordyn Adams scoring eight over the final 2:26 to play.
