Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, February 22nd, 2020, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department has planned a water outage and periods of low pressure on North Riverside Drive from North Spring Street to West Washington Street for water valve replacement work.
Approximately 200 feet of the outer southbound lane of North Riverside Drive will be closed to traffic at the intersection of McClure Street, but will remain passable.
McClure Street will also be closed from North Riverside Drive to North Spring Street and North Spring Street will be closed from McClure Street to North Riverside Drive.
Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when approaching the work zone.
The valve replacement is anticipated to be finished, water service restored and the roads reopened by approximately 4:00am on Sunday.
