Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are investigating an overnight shooting which occurred in the area of Tiny Town Road and Allen Road. The shooting occurred on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 around 1:30am.

Clarksville Police were notified of the shooting after the fact. The 20 year old victim was shot multiple times in the area of Tiny Town Road and Allen Road, left the scene, and went to a friend’s house in Oak Grove, KY and then police were notified.

Clarksville Police Department seeks Public Assistance with Shots Fired into moving Vehicle on Tiny Town Road case

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Joe Shrum is investigating a Shots Fired call and is requesting public assistance. On Wednesday, June 17th, 2015 at 9:32pm, there was a Shots Fired call on Tiny Town Road.

Witnesses stated that a gold colored vehicle, possibly a Hyundai or a similar looking vehicle, was driving erratically in the area of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Tiny Town Road eastbound.

Anyone with information on a Vehicle being shot at while driving down Tiny Town Road is asked to call the CrimeStoppers TIPS Hotline at 931.645.TIPS (8477).

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – It is that time of the year when residential homeowners like to leave windows open, due to the mild temperatures. While having the windows open is fine when someone is at home, it may not be a good idea when the home is left vacant.

First DUI Arrest of the Year and the First DUI Related Crash for 2012

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers working the DUI saturation patrols, partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office, snagged Clarksville’s first DUI arrest and DUI related crash arrests for 2012. CPD charged a total of 13 DUIs between December 31st and January 1st.

The first DUI arrest for 2012 was a 77 year old man. On January 1st, 2012, around 12:29am, Officer Kyle Fleming spotted a maroon Dodge Stratus traveling on Madison Street without its headlights on. Officer Fleming stopped the vehicle and upon initial contact with the driver noticed the driver, Roy Young, had slurred speech and slow to respond.

Man reports Robbery after marijuana customer drives off without paying

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On February 27th, 2011, around 11:00pm, the 911 center received a call that a man had been robbed on Dominion drive by a man driving a dark colored SUV. The caller provided a tag number for the vehicle and direction of travel. When dispatchers tried to get the victim’s personal information, he hung up and could not be reached.

Officers quickly located and stopped the vehicle described by the alleged victim. After the driver got out of the vehicle, officers could smell an odor resembling marijuana. The driver, Dwayne Walker could not speak clearly and started coughing.  As he coughed, he spit out a clear plastic baggy containing a green plant material, which field tested positive for the active ingredient in marijuana.

Water Outage on Allen Road and Bruceton Drive

 

Clarksville Gas & Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Water service is disrupted on Allen Road and on a short section of Bruceton Drive until approximately 5:30pm. Gas and Water construction workers are repairing a six-inch water main leak on Allen Road. The road is open to traffic.
