Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsStarkville, MS – The Tennessee men’s basketball team returns to action on Saturday afternoon for a road contest against Mississippi State. Tipoff from Humphrey Coliseum is set for 1:00pm CT on ESPNU.

Saturday’s game can be seen on ESPNU, online through WatchESPN, which can be accessed at espn.com/watch, and on any mobile device through the ESPN App. Drew Fellios and Dalen Cuff will have the call.

Fans can also listen in on their local Vol Network affiliate to hear Bob Kesling and Bert Bertlekamp describing the action.

Tennessee Vols beat Mississippi State 83-70, faces Kentucky in SEC Tournament Semifinals

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsNashville, TN – A second-half run vaulted the No. 5 Tennessee Vols to an 83-76 victory over Mississippi State in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament on Friday night at Bridgestone Arena.
 
All-SEC wing Admiral Schofield finished with a game-high 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the floor. Kyle Alexander posted a dominant performance, dropping 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting, nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
 
Grant Williams also chipped in 16 points in the game. Jordan Bone narrowly missed a double-double with 14 points and nine assists. Lamonte Turner was also effective at getting open shots for his teammates, dishing out eight assists to go with four steals. Jordan Bowden rounded out UT’s double-digit scorers with 10 points.

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsStarksville, MS – No. 16 Tennessee heads to Humphrey Coliseum to face one of the hottest teams in the SEC in Mississippi State on Tuesday night, February 27th. The game will tip at 6:00pm CT and will be televised live on SEC Network and streamed online via WatchESPN.

The Vols (21-7, 11-5 SEC) are coming off a pair of wins last week over Florida and Ole Miss. Admiral Schofield was named Co-SEC Player of the Week after averaging 20.5 points 7.5 rebounds and three assists in the wins. His week was highlighted by a dominant performance in Oxford during which he scored a career-high 25 points on an efficient 9-of-14 shooting en route to a 73-65 win over the Rebels. On the season, he ranks second on the team in scoring (12.8 ppg) and first in rebounding (6.9 rpg).

Tennessee Vols Basketball on the road Saturday to take on Mississippi State Bulldogs

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee begins the back half of SEC play on Saturday when it travels to Starkville for a rematch with Mississippi State. Tipoff is set for 2:30pm CT on SEC Network.

The Vols (13-9, 5-4 SEC), winners of four straight games, are playing their second straight road contest after picking up an 87-77 win at Auburn on Tuesday night. It was UT’s fourth true road win of the season after having just achieved one such victory during the entire 2015-16 season.

That lone triumph away from home a year ago came at Humphrey Coliseum when Tennessee earned an 80-75 win over Mississippi State (13-8, 4-5 SEC).
