Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS)Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) is now accepting open enrollment applications for the 2020-2021 school year. The district offers several non-traditional schools and programs of choice for students.

Additionally, specific grade levels in seven elementary schools are available for open enrollment.

Northwest lost to Johnson County Monday night in the State Junior (13-14) Baseball Tournament, 18-12

 

Clarksville National Little League is hosting the 2012 State Junior (13-14) Baseball Tournament

Little League BaseballClarksville, TN – Northwest locked horns with Johnson County at the 2012 State Junior (13-14) Baseball Tournament held Monday night, July 23rd at Clarksville National field. Johnson County loaded the bases in the top of the 1st with no outs.

Northwest’s pitcher Cortny Griffin struck out the next batter. Griffin then walked a batter and hit another. He then settled down and struck out the next two. Johnson County got two runs but left the bases loaded.

Logan Sargent was the winning pitcher for Johnson County.

Parks & Recreation announces winners of the Queen City Road Race Art Contest

 

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is happy to announce the winners of the Queen City Road Race Art Contest. Two finalists were selected from each of the participating elementary schools.

The overall winning artwork is featured on the official race T-shirt and event poster. Along with that honor, the top finalist has been awarded $100.00 for their art class. The top three finalists each won a Subway party for their art class. Each finalist received a certificate and art kit which were presented at their schools. «Read the rest of this article»
