Most recently, the Titans played the franchise’s first overseas game against the Chargers in London on October 21st, 2018. A touchdown pass from Marcus Mariota to tight end Luke Stocker put the Titans behind by one point with 31 seconds remaining.

Nashville, TN – Jake Locker completed a 34-yard touchdown pass to Justin Hunter with 15 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, giving the Tennessee Titans a dramatic 20-17 win over the San Diego Chargers at Nissan Stadium (then LP Field).
The Titans scored 10 points in the final six-and-a-half minutes, beginning with a 37-yard field goal by Rob Bironas that cut San Diego’s lead to 17-13.
The Chargers then ran nearly four minutes off the clock with six consecutive running plays. But a holding penalty helped stall the drive, and Mike Scifres was brought on to punt.

Kickoff at Nissan Stadium (capacity 69,143) is scheduled for 7:00pm CDT on Saturday, August 13th. The contest is a preview of the two teams’ November 6th regular season meeting in San Diego.
The game will be televised regionally on the Titans Preseason TV Network, including flagship WKRN News 2 in Nashville.

In a departure from tradition, this week’s game between AFC South rivals will be televised regionally on FOX, including Nashville affiliate WZTV FOX 17.

This week’s game will be televised regionally on CBS, including Nashville affiliate WTVF News-Channel 5. Andrew Catalon will handle play-by-play duties, while Steve Beuerlein and Steve Tasker will serve as analysts.
Nashville, TN – The Cleveland Browns (2-2) down 28-10 and the end of the first half score 19 unanswered points to beat the Tennessee Titans (1-4) 29-28 at LP Field Sunday. Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer connected with Travis Benjamin for a 6 yard touchdown pass with 1:09 remaining in the 4th quarter to seal the deal for Cleveland.
“Well, you know, needless to say it was an unbelievably tough loss for us today after we played so well in the first half and have things not go our way in the second half,” said Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt after the game.
Nashville, TN – The Dallas Cowboys (1-1) rolled over the Tennessee Titans (1-1) Sunday, September 14th at LP Field 26-10. The Cowboys gashed the Titans defense for 220 rushing yards.
“We missed gaps, we missed hits, we missed contain. You know, we missed tackles,” said Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt. “They ran the football well. Give them credit. They did to us what we did to Kansas City last week.”
