Ski, Climb, Hike and Bike with Fort Campbell’s Outdoor Recreation in February

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – February may be the shortest month of the year but Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs didn’t let that stop them from planning some great activities!

They start the month of February with a Paoli Peaks Ski Trip on February 2nd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Ages 14 and above are invited to join them for this fun filled day trip. Fort Campbell’s Outdoor Recreation December Activities

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Don’t let the cold weather keep you indoors.  Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs has just the thing to help you beat that holiday stress. They start the month of December with a Chickasaw Trace Mountain Biking trip on December 1st from 8:00am until 4:00pm. Ages 14 and above are invited to participate and the cost is $19.00.

Helmets, bikes and transportation are provided.  Chickasaw Trace is a small 300 acre park bordering the Duck River just southwest of Nashville, TN.  It may be small but this park offers some of the best mountain biking in Middle Tennessee. Fort Campbell’s Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs for September

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – It may be September but Outdoor Recreation is still planning some great activities for you!

It starts on September 8th with a Kings Bluff Climbing Trip from 9:00am until 3:00pm. Did you know that Clarksville has some of the best climbing in Middle Tennessee?  Join Outdoor Rec as they venture to Kings Bluff, a scenic 2 mile crag located just 15 minutes from post.

Transportation and equipment will be provided. Ages 12 and up are invited to participate and the cost is $35.00 per person. Please bring appropriate clothing, water, snacks, and a packed lunch. On March 10th from 9:00am until 4:00pm you are invited to join Outdoor Recreation while they ride the scenic trails at Chickasaw Trace. Outdoor Fun for All Ages in October with ODR

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Just as the temperature starts to cool down the adventures with Outdoor Recreation are heating up. Get ready for an October filled with great outdoor activities the whole Family can enjoy.

Bring your best four-legged friend and join other dog lovers for a Dog Hike around the trails at Outdoor Recreation.  Meet at the Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs lounge on October 2nd at 11:00am. Whether your dog is small or big they will love spending quality time with their owners and making new puppy pals. November Adventures with Outdoor Recreation

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – On November 2nd come and play on Outdoor Recreation’s 50 foot outdoor climbing wall. The Challenge Course Complex is now offering beginner climbing classes and has many different routes with eight varying sides offering routes from beginner to advanced. This clinic will cover the basics of rock climbing such as belay technique, equipment use, proper climbing technique, and much more.

After completion of the beginner class, look for upcoming test-off dates granting you privileges to our weekly Open Wall times.

Meet at the Challenge Course Complex located across the street from Outdoor Recreation (ODR) from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. The clinic costs $20.00, and pre-registration is required.
