Blanchfield Army Community Hospital expecting moms receive visit from USO Special Delivery pregnancy, parenting author Heidi Murkoff

 

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – Heidi Murkoff,Best-selling author of the pregnancy and parenting “What to Expect” book series,  visited new and expecting mothers at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH), May 6th, 2019 in conjunction with her USO Special Delivery Baby Shower and Reunion on Fort Campbell.

“This is our seventh year of doing Special Delivery Baby Showers, which we do around the world — Korea, Guam, Fort Campbell — you name it,” said Murkoff.

The USO Special Delivery Baby Shower tour has visited 35 military installations, giving military moms of newborns and moms-to-be an afternoon of traditional baby shower games, camaraderie, gifts and a question and answer period with Murkoff.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital to host Baby Steps Baby Expo, May 24th

 

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – The second annual Baby Steps Baby Expo will be held by Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) on May 24th, 2019 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Fort Campbell’s Family Resource Center.

“We’re very excited to bring this expo to Fort Campbell again. The Baby Expo is an educational fair that allows families to be connected with community resources here at Fort Campbell and the surrounding city-community,” said Sgt. Luz Gomez, non-commissioned officer in charge of BACH’s Mother Baby Unit and a return member of the Baby Expo planning committee.

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital will host its first ever Baby Expo, May 25th, 2018 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Fort Campbell’s Family Readiness Center.

“We’re very excited to bring this expo to Fort Campbell. The Baby Expo is an educational fair that allows families to be connected with community resources here at Fort Campbell and the surrounding city-community. It’s also great because we get to see face-to-face the patients who we will be serving here on the Mother-Baby Unit and on the Labor, Delivery and Recovery Unit,” said 1st Lt. Alison Wegenke, Clinical Nurse Officer in Charge on Blanchfield’s Mother-Baby Unit.

Fort Campbell Child, Youth and School Services to offer Family Game Night February 6th

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Join Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS) as they team up with Fort Campbell 4-H and offer a free Family Game Night on February 6th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Family Resource Center.

Children of all ages can join in the fun by gathering around one of the tables and playing board games. They will be serving hot dogs, chips, popcorn and beverages. As parents, it is our job to ensure that we provide our children with age appropriate knowledge that will help them excel when they are older.

Join Fort Campbell’s CYSS and MST for their Annual Holiday Family Feast

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – The Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS) Middle School and Teen Program will hold their annual Holiday Family Feast at Taylor Youth Center (TYC) on Saturday, November 22nd.

Family activities start at 2:00pm with dinner starting at 5:30pm. This free Thanksgiving feast is open to the community. Taylor Youth Center is located at 80 Texas Avenue, Fort Campbell, KY.

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – One in four youth are alone and unsupervised after school. After school programs keep kids safe, help working Families and inspire learning.

Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS) Middle School and Teen Program invites you to attend a “Lights on After School” event and see what Taylor Youth Center has to offer.

You can come on October 9th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm or on October 16th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
