19-year-old Ashley Ashworth from Clarksville had been shot and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries. District 3 Officers were able to put out a detailed description of both the suspect and his vehicle.

Clarksville Police requests public help identifying suspects Papa Murphy’s Armed Robbery
On September 5th, 2016 around 9:15pm (after closing time), two unknown black males entered Papa Murphy’s on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard as one of the employees was taking the trash out. The suspects had a firearm and instructed the manager to give them the money out of the registers and safe. Clarksville Police look to identify Vehicle Burglary Suspect
The initial crime occurred at 1930 East Boy Scout Road (Billy Dunlop Park) on June 16th, 2016 between noon and 2:30pm. Clarksville Police arrest Armed Robbery Suspect
The first robbery occurred at 12:31am at the Exxon Hi Road near Exit 4 just north of I-24 on Cracker Barrel Drive. The second robbery occurred at 1:44am at the Exxon Hi Road near Exit 11 just south of I-24 on Hwy 76.

APSU student-athlete recovering from injuries suffered in off-campus incidentAustin Peay Sports Information
The shooting resulted in multiple wounds sustained by a football student-athlete. He was transported to a medical facility, where he has undergone multiple surgeries and is expected to recover. The incident is still under investigation by Clarksville Police Department. Clarksville Police arrest suspect in Nolen Road Shooting
The suspect is Marcus Mitchell from Clarksville. He was booked into Montgomery County jail and charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Possession, and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. His total bond amount is $30,500.
