Memphis, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team scored the game’s final seven runs to post a come-from-behind 9-7, 10-inning victory against Memphis, Tuesday night, in nonconference action at FedEx Park.
Trailing 7-2 after seven innings, Austin Peay (19-12) began its comeback when third baseman Alex Robles singled to start the eighth.

Jacksonville, AL – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team had the first word but could not ultimately match the response of Jacksonville State in an 8-5 Ohio Valley Conference loss, Saturday, at Rudy Abbott Field.
The game was a study in creating scoring opportunities and capitalizing on those chances.

Lexington, KY – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team allowed a lead to slip away late, dropping a 3-2 nonconference decision to Kentucky, Wednesday afternoon, at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
Austin Peay (4-4) got a stellar start from freshman Josh Rye, who retired the first eight batters he faced before allowing a third-inning single. Rye would keep the Wildcats scoreless until the fourth when he surrendered a two-out solo home run to designated hitter Gunnar McNeill.

APSU Baseball pitcher Michael Costanzo allows one hit in 12-0 rout of Alcorn State

Clarksville, TN – Sophomore left hander Michael Costanzo allowed just one hit and struck out 10 and Austin Peay State University’s baseball team downed Alcorn State, 12-0, in the Riverview Inn Governors Challenge, Friday afternoon.
A week after taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning, Costanzo (2-0) got off to a quick start against Alcorn State, retiring the first six batters he faced.
