Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for booth space at Fright on Franklin, the City’s annual Downtown Halloween festival, which will unfold from 3:00pm-6:00pm Saturday, October 28th, 2017.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park features Disney’s Into the Woods Saturday, September 26th

 

Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Don’t miss your chance to see Disney’s Into the Woods on the big screen Saturday, September 26th as part of the 2015 Movies in the Park, presented by the City of Clarksville and Convergys.

Admission is free. The movie screening will begin at sunset, 7:00pm at Liberty Park Amphitheater, located at 1188 Cumberland Drive. Food will be available for purchase on-site. Guests are invited to bring picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs. Please leave your pets and alcohol at home.

Clarksville’s Movies in the Park to hold Back to the Future Double Feature this Saturday, August 29th

 

Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Get your flux capacitor ready. Movies in the Park is traveling back to the 1980s with a retro double feature of Back to the Future and Back to the Future Part II on Saturday, August 29th presented by the City of Clarksville and Convergys.

In the original Back to the Future, small-town California teen Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is thrown back into the ’50s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes awry. In the sequel, Marty McFly visits the year 2015 but must repeat his visit to 1955 to prevent disastrous changes to 1985, without interfering with his first trip.

Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – After weeks of collecting votes, Clarksville Parks and Recreation is excited to announce, “The Book of LIfe” as the people’s choice winner. The movie will be shown Saturday, August 1st at Liberty Park.

This is the fifth year Movies in the Park collected votes for a “people’s choice” movie night. Votes were collected online at www.cityofclarksville.com/movies . The movie with the most votes won.
