APSU Football’s Omar Williams dismissed for academic reasons

Clarksville, TN – Sophomore running back Omar Williams has been dismissed from the Austin Peay State University’s football team for academic reasons.
Williams finished 2013 with 636 yards rushing on 157 carries.

Austin Peay State University has 174 student athletes named to Fall honor roll

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s 331 student-athletes posted a 2.944 grade-point average during the recently completed Fall 2013 semester, the athletics department announced Tuesday.
The 2.944 cumulative GPA accumulated by the department’s student-athletes was the fourth-best mark in program history. It also is the third consecutive semester the group posted a 2.90 GPA or better.
