Clarksville Police asks Public Assistance in finding Lansinger Lane Shooting Suspect Timothy Shoffner

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 at approximately 8:45pm the Clarksville Police Department responded to 321 Lansinger Lane in reference to a shooting call.

57-year-old Lisa Downs and 23-year-old Donald Johnson had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Clarksville Police are looking for shooting suspect Timothy David Shoffner. Anyone with information is asked to call 931.648.0656 Ext. 5483 or CrimeStoppers at 931.645.TIPS (8477).

Tennessee National Guard gives back to local community

 

Tennessee National GuardNashville, TN – The Tennessee National Guard’s Joint Force Headquarters staff collected items for 40 local children as part of the Salvation Army’s annual Angel Tree project, Monday, December 9th.

“There are a lot of kids who wouldn’t have a Christmas present if not for this program,” said Chief Master Sgt. Buffy Burton, Superintendent, Knowledge Operations, Tennessee Air National Guard Joint Force Headquarters.

Nissan reaffirms support of National Guard and Reserve

 

Tennessee National GuardNashville, TN – Nissan America today reaffirmed their commitment and support for hiring service members and veterans by signing an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Statement of Support at their Headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee.

Nissan America senior vice president, administration and finance, Scott Becker and ESGR National Chair, Paul Mock, signed the Statement to honor all of the servicemembers and veterans employed with the company.

Tennessee National Guard’s Harry Montgomery promoted to Brigadier General

 

Tennessee Military DepartmentNashville, TN – Col. Harry Montgomery, of Collierville, TN, was promoted to Brigadier General in ceremonies at the 164th Airlift Wing, Memphis, February 27th. Maj. Gen. Terry M. Haston, Tennessee’s Adjutant General, named Montgomery Chief of Staff, Air, and he officially assumed command in the February ceremony.

Montgomery previously served as the commander of the 164th Airlift Wing in Memphis, and replaces Maj. Gen. Rita Works, who served as COS since 2008.  Montgomery was named as the Chief of Staff in December 2011.

Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Franklin to assume Command Tennessee Air Guard’s 119th Command and Control Squadron

 

Tennessee National Air GuardNashville, TN – Brig. Gen. Donald Johnson, Tennessee Assistant Adjutant General-Air, today announced that Lt. Col. Vincent Franklin, of Seymour, TN, will assume command of the 119th Command and Control Squadron on March 8th.

Also in the announcement, Brig. Gen. Johnson named Lt. Col. Samuel Keener, of Knoxville, as the Senior Technician of the 119th CACS in charge of the day to day operations of the unit.
