Clarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries, in partnership with Liberty Church, is opening an emergency warming center in response to upcoming extreme temperatures.
The center will open at Liberty Church (613 E. Street, Clarksville) on Sunday, January 19th, 2020 at 4:00pm and stay open until Wednesday, January 22nd at 8:00am.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Street Department crews are working diligently to clean up storm debris and make repairs to signals to ensure the Clarksville’s streets and roads are safe to travel in the wake of Saturday’s severe wind storm.

Clarksville, TN – CDE Lightband continues to make progress in restoring power to Clarksville customers, reporting at 1:00pm Monday that about 5,800 homes and businesses remained without power after a severe storm Saturday afternoon knocked out service to more than 30,000 customers.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has turned off water service temporarily on Locust Street from E. Street to Chapel Street for water main work.
Low water pressure may also affect area residents.
Clarksville, TN – On Monday, July 15th, 2019, Clarksville Police responded to a shooting on Providence Boulevard. Officers found a man that had sustained gunshot wounds at the intersection of E Street and Oak Street. He was taken to a Nashville Hospital.
The 22 year old shooting victim was treated and released.
Clarksville Police are still trying to locate the Ford F-150 which fled from the shooting scene.
Clarksville, TN – On Monday, July 15th, 2019, Clarksville Police Officers were called a shots fired in the area of 600 block of Providence Boulevard where a man was saw running, that may have been shot, around 2:30pm.
When officers arrived they found a man in his 20s who had sustained gunshot wounds around the intersection of E Street and Oak Street. There were multiple shell casing located near the scene.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) will start a month long 6-inch water main installation contract project on Locust Street on Monday, July 8th, 2019.
The work will close Locust Street to through traffic daily, Monday-Friday, at 7:00am until 5:30pm from Providence Boulevard to E Street.
Clarksville, TN – During the duration of the City’s Summer Youth Program, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program.
At 13 of the 15 program sites (all sites excluding Crow Recreation Center and Sango Elementary School) meals will be provided to all children without charge.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has turned off water service on Susan Street and surrounding area in the Olympic Village and Dogwood Hills subdivisions for fire hydrant replacement.
The following roads will be included in the water outage or will be affected by low water pressure during the work.
