Let EDGE! Be Your Valentine this February

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS) is offering wonderful programs during the month of February for Fort Campbell youth. Experience, Develop, Grow, and Excel (EDGE) is an opportunity for kids to experience cutting edge art, fitness, life skills and adventure programs.

Fire up your ovens and get baking with Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS) EDGE! Cooking with Love. Cole Park Commons and the CYSS EDGE! program have teamed up to provide a unique culinary arts experience for fifteen youth ages 11 to 18. Teens will have the opportunity to learn from one of the best chefs in the business, Executive Chef Bob Howell, from Eagle Catering. During this four week program, participants will be learning sanitation and safety in week one, table service to include table settings, napkin folding, and service styles in week two, preparing and sampling menus in week three, and in week four participants will prepare a special Valentine’s Day themed five course meal for Family and guests. Breakfast with Santa at Cole Park Southern Buffet

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – What better way to celebrate the holidays than to have breakfast with the big guy himself. On Saturday, December 18th from 8:00am to 10:00am, enjoy a breakfast with Santa at Cole Park Southern Buffet.

Breakfast with SantaCole Park’s Executive Chef, Bob Howell, will treat patrons to a pancake breakfast, serving sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, juice and all the trimmings. Children will be delighted to have chance to see Santa and win a six foot holiday stocking filled with goodies.

The cost for this event is $6.00 per person and children 3 and under is FREE! Tickets can be obtained in advance at Eagle Catering or Southern Buffet, both located in Cole Park Commons. Climb, Bike, Ride and More with EDGE!

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS) is offering wonderful programs during the month of September for Fort Campbell youth. Experience, Develop, Grow, and Excel (EDGE) is an opportunity for kids to experience cutting edge art, fitness, life skills and adventure programs.

Come play on the outdoor ropes course on September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. The climbing wall has many different routes with eight varying sides offering routes from beginner to advanced. This clinic will cover the basics of using the low ropes course and to prepare participants to see if they have what it takes to conquer the Alpine Tower, Odyssey, and Carolina T Wall of the high ropes courses. This is a great way to develop team building skills. Fifteen slots are available for youth ages 11 to 18. Transportation to and from Outdoor Recreation will be provided by CYSS. Bus will depart from Taylor Youth Center 4:30pm, and youth will return to Taylor Youth Center for pick-up at 6:00pm. «Read the rest of this article»
