Clarksville, TN – On Monday, June 8th, 2020, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department has planned a water outage, weather permitting at 8:00am on Evans Road and the following roads for water valve replacement.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have charged Gregory Pierre-Louis in conjunction in a crash resulting in the death of an unborn child and injuries to the occupants of a 2011 Nissan Sentra on March 3rd, 2019 around 9:40pm.
The crash occurred in the area of Purple Heart Highway and Evans Road. A 2008 Honda Civic driven by Gregory Pierre-Louis was traveling east on Purple Heart Highway. A 2011 Nissan Sentra driven by a 37 year old woman with a female juvenile passenger was traveling west on Purple Heart Highway.
Clarksville Police request help identifying Four Year Old Child found at Evans Road, Purple Heart Parkway
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that this morning, July 29th, 2019, a 4 year old female child was found at the intersection of Evans Road and Purple Heart Parkway about 9:00am. The child was found clean, appeared well taken care of, and had no signs of injury.
CPD do not know how the child ended up where she was located. CPD are trying to identify the child and locate family members.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed an injury crash which occurred Saturday, March 9th, 2019, around 9:35pm at the intersection of 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Evans Road.
The crash involved a Nissan driven by a 37 year old woman, traveling west on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway. The driver made a left turn toward Evans Road, to cross the eastbound lanes of the 101st Airborne Division Parkway, when a Honda driven by a 21 year old man, traveling eastbound on the the 101st Airborne Division Parkway collided with the Nissan.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water contractors are scheduled to start this year’s sewer main line rehabilitation work on Monday, April 30th, 2018 as part of Clarksville’s ongoing sewer rehabilitation program.
Work will take place in different locations throughout Clarksville; however, the following streets listed below will start off the schedule for April 30th to May 4th.
Clarksville Police reports Traffic Accident at the Intersection of Purple Heart Parkway and Evans Road
Clarksville, TN – Today March 26th, 2015 at 7:18am, the Clarksville Police Department was dispatched to a traffic collision at the intersection of Purple Heart Parkway and Evans Road.
A dump truck carrying a load of gravel traveling eastbound on Purple Heart Parkway struck the driver side of a four-door car traveling northbound on Evans Road. The dump truck rolled over on its side dumping out all its gravel and came to rest on the westbound lanes of Purple Heart Parkway.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews are continuing water main repair work today that began on Tuesday on Mary Beth Lane. Water service will be turned off on Mary Beth Lane, Cal Court, Garrettsburg Road and Evans Road to allow crews to finish the repair.
Area residents may also experience low water pressure during the work.
The repair is anticipated to be finished and water service restored approximately 11:00am.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has extended the Mary Beth and Cal Court water outage to parts of Garrettsburg Road and Evans Road.
Low water pressure may still affect area residents during the work.
The repair is anticipated to be finished and the water restored by approximately 12:00pm.

Tiny Town Road Hit and Run occurred on April 4th, 2014
Clarksville, TN – On April 22nd, 2014 at 8:07pm, 30 year old Scott Lee Murphy, a Clarksville resident, was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
When Mr. Murphy was interviewed, he admitted to driving the vehicle and fleeing the crash scene. Mr. Murphy stated he had outstanding warrants and was scared and did not know what he struck with the vehicle.
