Austin Peay’s 25th annual APSU Governors Bass Tournament set for May 12th

APSU Governors Bass TournamentClarksville, TN – Registration is now open for the 25th annual Austin Peay State University Governors Bass Tournament, which will be held at 6:00am, Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at Kentucky Lake.

Registration and boat launching will take place at Paris Landing State Park (Tennessee). The pre-registration fee is $120.00 (for up to two people in one boat), but after noon on May 11th, the registration fee rises to $135.00, with boats being launched by order of entry.

The tournament will begin at 6:00am, but all contestants must check in at the Paris Landing Marina between 4:00am-5:30am, with a compulsory meeting at 5:30am.

Clarksville’s Frank and Connie Fisher win 22nd Annual APSU Governors Bass Tournament

 

APSU Governors Bass TournamentBuchanan, TN – On Saturday, May 14th, the 22nd annual Austin Peay State University Governors Bass Tournament was held on Kentucky Lake. Boats launched from Paris Landing State Park at 6:00am. There were 187 boats competing for $12,000 in prize money.

Although the forecast was for a clear, sunny day, the start of the tournament was anything but. Clouds rolled in, the wind kicked up making for a cold morning with a lot of chop on the water. As the day went on, the clouds departed and the sunny weather promised presented itself.

Walmart FLW Tour heads to Kentucky Lake for Regular-Season Finale at Paris Landing, June 26th-29th

 

Walmart FLW TourParis, TN – The sixth and final regular-season event in the 19th season of the major leagues of professional bass-fishing, the Walmart FLW Tour, kicks off June 26th-29th with the Walmart FLW Tour at Kentucky Lake presented by Evinrude.

Hosted by the Henry County Alliance, the tournament will feature a full field of the world’s best bass-fishing pros and co-anglers casting for top awards of up to $125,000 cash in the pro division and up to $25,000 cash in the co-angler division.

Land Between the Lakes to hold Special Populations Fishing Tournament at Honker Lake

 

Land Between the Lakes - LBLGolden Pond, KY – Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area hosts the annual Special Populations Fishing Tournament on Saturday, June 7th, at Honker Lake off Forest Service Road 135, near Woodlands Nature Station. Registration for the free tournament begins at 8:30am, with fishing from 9:00am until 12:00pm.

Kentucky Lake Bass Club sponsors the tournament in its 37th year.

McGregor Park Docks Will Be Closed for the Event Saturday and Sunday

Bass Pro Shops Big Cat Quest ChampionshipClarksville, TN – The Bass Pro Shops Big Cat Quest Championship will be taking place on the banks of the Cumberland River in Clarksville, Tennessee, October 27th-28th.

The Clarksville-Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Ken Freeman Outdoor Promotions invite you to see all the action live at McGregor Park. The CVB also wants to announce that the Courtesy Docks located at the park will be closed over the weekend to accommodate the tournament participants.

Wounded Warrior Bass Tournament May 19th

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – Registration is still being accepted for the Third Annual Wounded Warrior Bass Tournament to be held at Paris Landing on Kentucky Lake, Saturday, May 19th.

Last season’s tourney was postponed one week due to high waters and flooding that enveloped the area. Despite the delay, the tourney still drew 243 boats.
