City of Clarksville to help Storm-Displaced Residents

 

Utilities to waive relocation fees for qualifying households

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – City of Clarksville utility departments are waiving qualifying fees and deposits for area residents forced out of their homes by damage from the February 24th, 2018 tornadoes and severe winds.

Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan has authorized the Clarksville Gas & Water Department to waive payment of a security deposit or connection/reconnection fee for customers who provide written proof of substantial storm damage to their property or proof of displacement from their property because of storm damage.

Fort Campbell Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center has activities for the whole Family in July

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Join Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center (D.W. Rec.) for some great July activities to help keep you cool!

The recreation center will be open on July 4th from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Enjoy the computer lab; play pool, table tennis, a video game or musical instrument; or watch a movie before you go out to the Division Parade Field for the Carnival and fireworks.

On July 7th, they will hold Kids Candy Bingo at 2:00pm. There will be candy and other kid friendly prizes for your children to win. Children must be able to read their numbers up to 75 in order to play. Each child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent. «Read the rest of this article»

Fort Campbell’s R.F. Sink Memorial Library to hold “Get Creative” Series

Fort Campbell’s Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers St. Louis Retreat

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) is pleased to offer this Single Soldier Retreat to St. Louis on July 20th-22nd.

You will depart D.W. Recreation Center on July 20th at 11:00am and travel to St. Louis. While you are there you will visit Six Flags and attend a Major League Baseball Game to watch the St. Louis Cardinals play the Chicago Cubs.

You will return to D.W. Recreation Center on July 22nd. The cost for this trip is $50.00 which covers entrance to Six Flags and the baseball game. Soldiers will need a three day pass. «Read the rest of this article»

Fort Campbell’s Week of the Eagles 2012 Car Show has Something for Everyone

 

Fort Campbell's Week of the EaglesFort Campbell, KY – Do you think your car or truck is awesome? Now is your chance to show it off. Plan to bring it to the Week of the Eagles Car Show, August 12th at the Post Exchange parking lot here from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Presented by the Fort Campbell Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, there will be six classes of cars competing for prizes: Classic, muscle, patriotic, customized, imported, and 4×4 truck.
