Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County TennesseeClarksville, TN – On Sunday, June 9th, 2019 a dedication ceremony was held by Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County for its 97th Clarksville home.

Overlia Williams, Mario Owens, and daughters KeVi and Anna were joined by more than 50 supporters and family members at the dedication.

Grasty Family Receives Keys to New Habitat Home

 

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County TennesseeClarksville, TN – Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County TN dedicated their 91st home to their newest homeowners Susan and David Grasty, on Sunday, November 6th.

The new homeowners, Susan and David Grasty, thanked all those who worked so hard to help them reach this goal.

Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre’s Les Misérables is a show you should not miss

 

Roxy Regional TheatreLes Miserables at the RoxyClarksville, TN – the Roxy regional theaters currently staging their production of the Victor Hugo Classic Les Misérables. Called Epic, grand and uplifting, Les Misérables has captured the hearts of audiences around the world with its powerful affirmation of the human spirit. The Musical is running through May 10th.

Will Sevier stars as the noble Jean Valjean, who has been released after 19 years of unjust imprisonment in pre-revolutionary France, only to find nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. Breaking his parole in hopes of starting a new life, he initiates a life-long struggle for redemption during which he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert (played by Donald Groves), who refuses to believe criminals can change their ways.

“Les Miserables” takes Stage at Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre, March 28th – May 10th

 

Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, March 29th, to Launch Seven-Week Run

Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Epic, grand and uplifting, “Les Miserables” has captured the hearts of audiences around the country, and its powerful affirmation of the human spirit has made this adaptation of the Victor Hugo classic an international smash-hit.

This spring, Boublil and Schonberg’s popular masterpiece takes the stage of the Roxy Regional Theatre, March 28th – May 10th.

A grand opening celebration with the cast on Saturday, March 29th, launches the seven-week run of “Les Miserables”. Following that evening’s 8:00pm performance, audience members will be invited onstage to socialize with the cast over champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $50.00 (including the show).

The Hispanic Organization for Progress & Education helped feed the needy this Thanksgiving

 

Hispanic Organization for Progress and Education (H.O.P.E.)Clarksville, TN – Around 30 volunteers gathered in the basement of Forest Street United Methodist Church  yesterday to parcel out what will become a Thanksgiving bonanza for the poor and needy in our community. The Hispanic Organization for Progress & Education (H.O.P.E.) each year prepares and distributes Thanksgiving food baskets to people who applied at the Community Action Agency and other area organizations. “Applicants received food baskets custom tailored to their specific families needs.” said H.O.P.E. President Elizabeth Vasquez-Adamski.
