Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has closed Shelton Street from Crossland Avenue to High Street for natural gas line repair.
Motorists will be detoured to Crossland Avenue and High Street during the work.
Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, July 28th, 2020. the Clarksville Gas and Water Department reduced water pressure on High Street from King Street to Crossland Avenue for water main leak repair.
The repair work is anticipated to be finished and water pressure fully restored by approximately 12:30pm.

Clarksville, TN – On Monday morning, July 8th, 2019, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports that it has closed a section of High Street from King Street to Crossland Avenue for water main replacement work.
Through traffic will be redirected to King Street and Crossland Avenue during the work, but local residents will have access.
Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 around 3:07pm, Clarksville Police report a 2010 Nissan Altima, driven by a 23 year old man, was traveling west on Crossland Avenue and left the roadway for an unknown reason.
The vehicle traveled down a sidewalk, crashed into and broke a utility pole, at which time, the vehicle returned to the roadway to a stopped position back on Crossland Avenue.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed Shelton Street from High Street to Crossland Avenue to repair a water service line.
Area residents may experience low water pressure during the work.
The repair is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 11:00am.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water’s ongoing sewer rehabilitation program is underway in Clarksville and the help and cooperation of residents is needed.
Contractors are currently performing sewer rehab work in the Bel Air subdivision and surrounding service area and residents will see their personnel and equipment in neighborhoods for the next 2-3 months. Clarksville, TN – Daniel Street, Shelton Street, Cumberland Drive, High Street, Crossland Avenue are back in service.
Crews are now working in the Pine Mountain Road area, Madison Street/Delmar Drive, Shelby Street, Earl Slate, Rossview, and South Senseney.
We have a total of 16 crews working.
A one car accident on High Street at approximately 2 am this morning severely damaged a utility pole. A white two door vehicle ran off the road and collided with a light pole. Four Clarksville police department units and one EMS unit responded, but EMS services were not needed. The vehicle required towing which was provided by Aaron Trammell of T&T towing. CDE Lightband has been notified and is expected to replace the damaged light pole shortly.
