Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office swears in Eleven new Deputies

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – On Monday, September 9th, 2019, Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson conducted a swearing in ceremony for 11 new Deputies.

Family, friends, and coworkers gathered at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to watch James Wall, Cody Evans, Wendi Potter, James Atkins, Chris Bailey, Joshua Clegg, M. Kyle Cox, Shawn Delle, Matthew Falencik, Amy Lamping, and Jennifer Szczerbiak take the Oath of Office.

“We are excited to welcome these deputies to the MCSO family,” said spokesperson Sandra Brandon.

Clarksville Police Department hosted an Improvised Alcohol Awareness Class for Clarksville Academy Upperclassmen

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday April 29th, 2015 at 1:00pm, the Clarksville Police Department hosted an Improvised Alcohol Awareness Class for the Junior and Senior classes from Clarksville Academy at their outdoor Sports Complex off of Hwy 48-13.

The purposes of the class was to educate teens on the dangers of impaired driving, educate on DUI laws, and to influence a reduction in the underage consumption of alcohol.

Over 60 Clarksville Academy Students attended the CPD's Improvised Alcohol Awareness Class.

Clarksville Police charge Women with DUI after Traffic Crash

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – In the vast majority of DUI related crashes, there is alcohol or illegal drug usage involved.  The Clarksville Police Department would like to make the public aware that this is not always the case.

Clarksville Police recently had a DUI case in which the driver appeared to be a very conscientious and responsible driver, did not imbibe alcohol, but the prescription medication affected their ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Clarksville Police reports Truck Flips in Multiple-Vehicle Crash on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On October 29th, 2012, around 4:00pm, a 2006 Buick Lacrosse, driven by Laurence Pugh, 73, was turning right off of Old Trenton Road to go south on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, failed to yield to an oncoming 96 Chevy Silverado, driven by Albert Allen, 61 traveling in the right lane.

The Lacrosse knocked the Silverado into the left lane hitting a 94 Nissan pickup driven by Chase Hunter, 19, causing the pickup to flip onto its side.

Clarksville Police report Tractor Trailer flips over on Riverside Drive

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On July 2nd, 2012, around 12:40pm, a tractor trailer driven by Martin Dimas, 28 was making a left turn off Hwy 48/13 onto Riverside Drive when the load shifted and the trailer flipped onto its side.

According to witnesses, the driver did not appear to be speeding. Dimas was uninjured.

Clarksville Police Department Puts 11 New Officers on the Payroll

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On December 1st, 2010, at 9:30am, there were 11 new Police Officers welcomed to the ranks of the Clarksville Police Department by City Officials, families, friends, and fellow Police Officers. The officers were Sworn-In by Clarksville’s Mayor John E. Piper.

The new officers are John Burdge, Matthew Ferrell, Christopher Robinson, Ryan Steinlage, Christy Arwood, Todd Bell, James Atkins, Avery Lambert, Kyle Fleming, Brittany Boisseau, and Morgan Northrup.

11 New Officers to Be Sworn-In

 

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – There will be 11 new officers sworn-in by Mayor Johnny Piper, Wednesday, December 1st, 2010, 9:00am, in the Mayor’s Conference Room. This is the largest group of new officers to be sworn-in since 2003.

The new officers to be sworn-in are: Ryan Steinlage, Matthew Ferrell, James Atkins, Christy Arwood, Christopher Robinson, Avery Lambert, Brittany Boisseau, Kyle Fleming, John Burdge, Todd Bell, and Morgan Northrup.
