Titans to pick 20th in NFL Draft

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Titans safety Michael Griffin was named to the AFC squad for the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl, which will be played January 30th, 2011, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. Griffin replaces Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed, who is unable to participate due to injury.
Griffin, the Titans’ 2007 first-round draft pick, led the team and tied for sixth in the AFC with four interceptions. He also finished second on the squad with 153 tackles and 14 passes defensed in 2010. Griffin was named AFC Defensive Player of the Month for October after leading the AFC and ranking second in the NFL with four interceptions. This is Griffin’s second Pro Bowl nod, after representing the AFC following his seven-interception campaign in 2008.
Griffin joins defensive end Jason Babin, running back Chris Johnson and return specialist Marc Mariani, who were previously named to the Pro Bowl.
Nashville, TN – Titans running back Chris Johnson has been named to the AFC squad for the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl, replacing Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew, who is unable to participate due to injury.
The Pro Bowl will be played January 30th, 2011 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.

They finally won again.
Kerry Collins threw for two touchdowns and 237 yards and Chris Johnson ran for a TD and 130 yards as the Titans snapped a six-game skid by beating the Houston Texans 31-17 on Sunday.
With the win and Indianapolis downing Jacksonville 34-24, the Titans (6-8) stayed in the playoff hunt for another week with their first victory since October 24th. They also avoided being swept by the team that replaced them in Houston for only the second time.
Tennessee Titans (3-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2)
Nashville, TN — After enjoying a hard-earned victory last week over the Dallas Cowboys, the Tennessee Titans (3-2) take to the road for a crucial divisional bout with the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) on Monday Night Football.
