Decorated Baseball Executive Tapped To Lead Sounds’ Front Office Staff
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds have named Garry Arthur as the club’s Chief Operating Officer, an announcement made by owner Frank Ward on Monday morning.
Arthur had previously served as a senior advisor to Sounds ownership dating back to MFP Baseball LLC’s acquisition of the club in 2009.
“I am very pleased to have Garry step into this role during a very exciting time for the Sounds franchise,” said Ward. “His vast knowledge of the industry and previous experience in opening a new minor league ballpark are very important as we celebrate the opening of First Tennessee Park and a new era of baseball in Nashville.”

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds and the Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center announce that Greer Stadium will be bringing awareness to those afflicted with peanut allergies with Peanut Free Night on Monday, July 21st.
No peanuts or peanut-related products will be sold at the ballpark during that night’s 7:05pm game against Colorado Springs Sky Fox, and special efforts have been made to clean the ballpark to rid it of any peanut residue, in the order to make it a fun evening at the ballpark for Sounds fans with peanut allergies.

Greer Stadium to Host Nashville Sound’ First “Past and Present” Baseball Doubleheader

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds will host the first ever “Past and Present Doubleheader” presented by The Nashville SCENE and Family Leisure on Sunday, June 29th at Greer Stadium.
Gates will open at 4:00pm for an action-packed day that will celebrate the storied history of Nashville baseball, beginning with the 1864 Nashville Vintage Baseball League holding its inaugural all-star game at 4:30pm as the North All-Stars battle the South All-Stars.
