The mission of FBI LEEDA is to advance the science and art of law enforcement leadership and promote the exchange of information to improve law enforcement management practices through training, education, and networking among police professionals across the United States and beyond.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office issues warrant for Ashley Canty for Sex Offender Registry Violations

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Sex Offender Registration Unit executed a search warrant on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at a home in the Poplar Hills subdivision.

Based on evidence discovered at 3317 Marrast Drive, investigators have issued an arrest warrant for Ashley Canty, 32, for violations of the sex offender registry. Additional charges may also be filed upon completion of the investigation.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrests three for Sex Offender registry violations

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Three Clarksville men have been arrested for violations of the sex offender registry in three separate incidents.

Investigators Jeffrey Morlock and Al Maynard with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were notified by the Clarksville Montgomery County School System after the three men used the new visitor management sign-in process.

The school system’s new sign-in process provides an immediate check through the state and national sex offender database.

Bernard Wilson, Bernard Wilson, and Jason Danner were arrested for Sex Offender registry violations by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. «Read the rest of this article»

Three Montgomery County Sheriff officials participate in St. Jude Half Marathon

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Investigator Jeffrey Morlock, Deputy Stephanie Price and Lt. Sonny Goodowens completed the 2014 St. Jude Half Marathon in Memphis, TN last weekend raising over $7,900 for the charity.

“Over 18,000 runners raised more than $6 million for the St. Jude Children’s hospital at this event,” Morlock said, adding that the hospital never charges families for services – it relies solely on donations to operate. “It costs about $2 million per day to run the hospital.”

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office school resource officer recognizes sex offender at school, detains him

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Thanks to the keen eye of a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office school resource officer Tuesday, a sex offender was arrested after showing up at local elementary school.

According to Tennessee Code Annotated, sex offenders are not allowed at schools, parks, playgrounds and daycares unless they are dropping off or picking up children.

Fallen Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputy David ‘Bubba’ Johnson to be honored with events Saturday, July 19th

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Two back-to-back events will be held Saturday in honor of fallen Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputy David “Bubba” Johnson.

First, the Inaugural Bubba Johnson Memorial 5K Road Race begins at 8:30am Saturday, July 19th beginning at The Montgomery County Historic Courthouse, Clarksville, TN. There is also a 1-mile “fun run-walk” that will begin and end at Clarksville First Baptist Church.
