Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (2-2) travel this week to face the Miami Dolphins (1-2). Kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium (capacity 64,767) is scheduled for 1:00pm EDT/noon CDT on Sunday, October 8th, 2017.

This is the third consecutive season in which the Titans and Dolphins have played and the second straight year the Dolphins have hosted the meeting. In 2015, the Dolphins took a 38-10 decision at Nissan Stadium, and the Titans returned the favor with a 30-17 win in South Florida in 2016. Miami leads the all-time series 19-17.

Tennessee Titans turnovers costly in 31-24 loss to the New Orleans Saints

 

Tennessee TitansNew Orleans, LA – With 19 seconds left in the game, Tennessee Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger threw a pass to Marc Mariani that was deflected into the end zone and caught by Titans tight end Chase Coffman for a 1 yard touchdown.

It was too little too late for Tennessee as Maikon Bonani’s onside kick was recovered at midfield by New Orleans Saints’ Brandon Coleman sealing a 31-24 win over the Titans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Seattle Seahawks’ Richard Sherman Wins Madden NFL 15 Cover Vote

 

Seahawks Defender Defeats Cam Newton in Finale

EA SPORTS™Redwood City, CA – The Legion of Boom has earned another accolade, as Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman has won the Madden NFL 15 Cover Vote. Sherman faced off against Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton in the finals and was revealed as the winner of the fan-voted cover in a special segment on SportsCenter.

Tennessee Titans Host the New Orleans Saints at LP Field Sunday

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Titans (7-5) begin the final quarter of their season this week, welcoming the New Orleans Saints (9-3), the leaders of the NFC South, to LP Field (capacity 69,143). Kickoff is scheduled for noon CST on Sunday, December 11th.

In 12 all-time meetings between the two franchises, the Titans lead the series 7-4-1, including a current four-game winning streak that dates back to 1996. Most recently, the Titans won a Monday night game at the Louisiana Superdome by a final score of 31-14 on September 24th, 2007. The Titans and Saints also have squared off in the final week of the preseason in each of the last two years.

Titans Hold on for 27-24 Win Over Saints in Preseason Finale

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN — Chris Johnson wore a visor and T-shirt and stayed busy as Tennessee’s top cheerleader.

Drew Brees and Reggie Bush limited their dress rehearsal to putting on their New Orleans’ uniforms and pregame warmup before watching from the sideline all night long.

Alvin Pearman’s 5-yard touchdown with 3:18 left helped the Titans beat the Saints 27-24 on Thursday night in the preseason finale where both teams thought of safety first for their key stars.

Vince Young tossed a TD, LeGarrette Blount also ran for a score and Rob Bironas kicked two field goals for Tennessee (2-2).

New Orleans looked ahead to the NFL’s regular-season opener on September 9th when the defending Super Bowl champs host the Minnesota Vikings and Brett Favre.
