Clarksville, TN – On Monday morning, March 20th at 6:57am, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a vehicle crash involving a Buick Century and ProStar Semi Tractor with a Trailer at 41-A Bypass and Denny Road.
This is the same crash that had the 41-A Bypass closed until 1:15pm Monday afternoon.
According to witnesses and preliminary investigation it appears that the Buick Century driven by Rodney Howard of Clarksville, TN was traveling southbound and for unknown reason drifted into oncoming traffic.
Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, December 4th a silver Hyundai Sonata left the roadway near Governor’s Square Mall and slammed into a retaining wall at a significant rate of speed just after 11:00am.
Investigator John Reyes has identified the driver of the Sonata as Derek Doker, a 30-year-old Clarksville resident with a suspended driver license and previous arrests for driving on a suspended license and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Clarksville, TN – Shortly before 11:00am Sunday, December 4th, a silver Hyundai Sonata left the roadway near Governor’s Square Mall and slammed into a retaining wall at what police are calling a significant rate of speed.
The call was dispatched to first responders at 11:00am. District Three Patrol Officer Coz Minetos was the first responder to arrive, at 11:02am.
“This is one of the most dramatic impacts I’ve ever seen,” stated Minetos.

Clarksville, TN – The Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO), the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police (TACP), and the Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association (TSA) have joined forces to strengthen and support traffic enforcement nationwide by providing the Law Enforcement Challenge program, an innovative program designed to stimulate traffic law enforcement activities.
The program targets three major traffic safety priorities: occupant protection, impaired driving, and speeding.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police officers respond to late afternoon crash on Tiny Town Road near Allen Road that resulted in a fatality. Lead Investigator John Reyes stated that 24-year-old Clarksville Resident Jermichael Ray died of his injuries at approximately 10:20pm.
Ray was Life-Flighted to Nashville after his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a box truck in a head-on collision.
Clarksville, TN – During this week (October 19th, 2015-October 23rd, 2015), Officers from the Clarksville Police Department’s Traffic Unit have been assisting West Creek High School Academy of Criminal Justice and Homeland Security in an event called The Freshman Challenge.

Clarksville Police reports Traffic Accident at the Intersection of Purple Heart Parkway and Evans Road
Clarksville, TN – Today March 26th, 2015 at 7:18am, the Clarksville Police Department was dispatched to a traffic collision at the intersection of Purple Heart Parkway and Evans Road.
A dump truck carrying a load of gravel traveling eastbound on Purple Heart Parkway struck the driver side of a four-door car traveling northbound on Evans Road. The dump truck rolled over on its side dumping out all its gravel and came to rest on the westbound lanes of Purple Heart Parkway.
Clarksville, TN – Yesterday, January 19th, 2014 at 11:13pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a traffic collision on Madison Street near Alfred Drive.
A 2001 Chrysler Town & Country driven by 32-year-old Jamie L. Drenth crossed the center lane and entered the east bound lane striking a 2002 Toyota Camry. The Toyota was struck head on sending all occupants to the hospital.
The driver of the Toyota, 24-year-old Wesley Waterston is in critical condition.
Clarksville Police report Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard near Ringgold Road Sunday
Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, November 9th, 2014 at 3:00am, Officer John Reyes from the Clarksville Police Department responded to a call involving a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard 1800 Feet South of Ringgold Road.
The driver of the vehicle, Jordan Victor Butts, was traveling north on Fort Campbell Boulevard and struck the pedestrian, Lakeshia P. Lamb-Brown, who was walking east toward the Jackson Hewitt business parking lot. Butts continued to drive north failing to stop after striking Lamb-Brown. «Read the rest of this article»
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, August 2nd, 2014, at approximately 8:00pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a traffic collision on Fort Campbell Boulevard north of the Ringgold Road intersection (not at the intersection), in which a vehicle struck a pedestrian.
A 2003 Honda Odyssey owned by 101st Airborne Cab Co. driven by James Cuthbertson of Clarksville, TN struck Clifford Dee Abernathy of Nashville, TN, who died at the scene. «Read the rest of this article»
