Last Meeting between Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – In Week 14 of the 2016 season, the Tennessee Titans won their third-consecutive home game for the first time since the 2009 season with a 13-10 victory over the defending Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos at Nissan Stadium.

The run game for both teams proved to be the difference, as the Titans accumulated 180 yards on the ground and the Tennessee defense contained Denver to just 18 rushing yards—the fifth-lowest rushing yardage total allowed by the defense in franchise history.

Tennessee Titans lose on the road to Baltimore Ravens 21-7

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (2-7) started the game strong scoring a touchdown in the first quarter while holding the Baltimore Ravens (6-4) in check. However, those were the only points the Titans scored. The Ravens posted a touchdown in each of the following quarters to win 21-7 Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.

The Titans took their first drive from the Tennessee 20 down to the Baltimore 1 yard line. On 2-1, Shonn Greene ran off right guard but lost the ball. Defensive tackle Lawrence Guy recovered it for the Ravens.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – After playing three consecutive home games, the Tennessee Titans (3-2) go on the road this week to face the Seattle Seahawks (4-1), leaders of the NFC West. Kickoff at CenturyLink Field (capacity 67,000) is scheduled for 1:05pm PDT/3:05pm CDT on Sunday, October 13th.

This week’s game will be televised regionally on CBS, including Nashville affiliate WTVF News-Channel 5. Greg Gumbel will handle play-by-play duties while Dan Dierdorf provides analysis.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (0-0) open their preseason schedule this week, traveling to Seattle to face the Seahawks (0-0) at CenturyLink Field (capacity 67,000). Kickoff is scheduled for 9:00pm CDT on Saturday, August 11th.

The Titans begin their second preseason under head coach Mike Munchak, now in his 31st season with the franchise. Last year, Munchak led the Titans to a second-place finish in the AFC South with a 9-7 record.
