APSU Softball - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s softball team will renew its long-time series with mid-state rival Lipscomb University after a four-year hiatus, this weekend at Draper Diamond at Smith Stadium, for a three-game series.

The Govs (8-11) will open the weekend with a doubleheader starting at, 1:00pm, on Saturday, with a single game to conclude the matchup versus the Lady Bisons (18-7) on Sunday, also with scheduled 1:00pm first pitch.

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Western Kentucky, Saturday, at the Austin Peay Indoor Tennis Center.

In doubles action, Austin Peay (0-5) the doubles pairing of senior Ornella Di Salvo and sophomore Hannah Tatlock dropped a 6-1 decision to the team Emilia Granstrom and Andreanna Christopoulou at the No. 1 position.

Austin Peay Lady Govs Soccer hosts Lipscomb Tuesday

Austin Peay State University Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team continues its four-match home stand, 7:00pm, Tuesday, when the Lady Govs play host to Lipscomb at Morgan Brothers Field.

Austin Peay (2-1-0) used three second-half goals Friday night to topple Appalachian State in the Lady Govs’ home opener. Junior forward Andy Quiceno netted the game-winner, her second in as many games, while junior Tatiana Ariza assisted on both the game-tying and game-winning goals. Ariza was named CollegeSportsMadness.com Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week for her efforts.
