Greenwood Avenue Road Closure Planned

Clarksville Gas and Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Gas and Water construction crews will close Greenwood Avenue from Lynes Street to Monroe Street beginning Monday, April 18th, through Wednesday, April 20th. This section of Greenwood will be closed each day at 8:30am and reopened at 2:00pm.

Greenwood Avenue Water Outage and Road Closure Planned

Clarksville Gas and Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – A Gas and Water construction crew will turn water service off on Greenwood Avenue from Woodmont Boulevard to Lynes Street tomorrow evening at 6:00pm. This section of Greenwood will also be closed to through traffic at 5:00pm to allow crews to replace two water valves and a fire hydrant. The water outage will include Lynes Street, Wall Street, and Daniel Street from Wall to Richardson Street.

Water service is expected to be restored by 6:00am on Wednesday morning and the road reopened by 7:30am.

Water outage and partial road closure Scheduled for Greenwood Avenue and Seven Mile Ferry Road

 

Thursday, October 28th, 2010 – 6:00pm to 7:00am.

Clarksville Gas & Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Gas and Water construction crews will begin work on Thursday, October 28th, to replace two sixteen-inch water valves on Greenwood Avenue and Seven Mile Ferry Road. Crews will close Seven Mile Ferry Road from the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Edmondson Ferry Road to Highway 41-A Bypass and a small section Gupton Lane at 6:00pm to 7:00am on Friday.

Water service will also be disrupted during the valve replacement work from Lynes Street to the bypass beginning at 8:00pm to 7:00am. Traffic will be detoured to Edmondson Ferry Road.

Greenwood Avenue water valve repair

 

Clarksville Gas & Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Weather permitting, Gas and Water construction crews will be working at several points along Greenwood Avenue beginning Tuesday, September 28th, at 8:00am to 4:00pm and resuming at 8:00pm through Wednesday morning at 7:30am and the same times on Thursday, September 30th.

Two separate crews with be replacing five 16-inch water valves at the intersections of Greenwood Avenue and Woodmont Boulevard, Lynes Street, Cross Lane, Edmondson Ferry Road and on Pumping Station Road. «Read the rest of this article»
