Knoxville, TN – No. 22/23 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (11-2, 1-0 SEC) makes the trip up I-75 for its first SEC road contest of the season, a Sunday matinee in Lexington at Memorial Coliseum vs. No. 13/13 Kentucky (11-2, 0-1 SEC). Tip-off is slated for 3:02pm CT.
This will mark the 68th meeting between these programs, with the Lady Vols leading the series, 55-12.
Tennessee popped the top on the SEC portion of its schedule on Thursday night, overcoming a five-point, first-quarter deficit to topple Missouri, 77-66, at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville.
UT led by as many as 18 points in the contest. The win provided first-year Lady Vol head coach Kellie Harper a victory in her SEC debut.
#22/24 Tennessee vs. Howard

Knoxville, TN – No. 22/24 Tennessee (9-2) will open a two-game home stand and simultaneously close out the 2019 portion of its schedule on Sunday, as the Lady Vols welcome Howard (8-4) to Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:02pm CT. This will mark the first time these programs have met on the hardwood.
Tennessee is coming off a two-game West Coast swing from December 16th to December 22nd that saw the Big Orange come away with a split. The Lady Vols suffered a 78-51 defeat at (then) No. 1/1 Stanford on December 18th and closed the trip in Oregon on December 21st with an 88-61 victory at Portland State.
Lexington, KY – On the road against the No. 14 team in the country, Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s basketball struggled to find its rhythm on offense end and after falling behind early, were unable to close the gap and fell, 81-52, to Kentucky in Memorial Coliseum.

Clarksville, TN – For the first time this season Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s basketball will play a nationally televised game on the SEC Network when they take on the Kentucky Wildcats at 3:00pm, Sunday, in Memorial Coliseum.

Lexington, KY – No. 19/22 Tennessee attempted to rally back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit with a furious late surge, but the Lady Vols came up short in the closing seconds, falling to No. 12/9 Kentucky, 64-63, on Monday at Memorial Coliseum.
The Lady Vols (12-7, 3-3 SEC) outscored Kentucky (15-3, 4-3 SEC) in the first, second and fourth quarters, but the Wildcats dominated the third, 21-9.
Tennessee stormed back to within one possession in the final three minutes. After trailing 57-47 with 5:36 remaining, UT pulled to within 63-61 with 30 seconds left when Te’a Cooper sliced through the lane for a layup. Andrea Carter stole the inbounds pass and made one of two free throws to pull UT to within one point.
#18/22 Tennessee (12-6, 3-2 SEC) vs. #9/9 Kentucky (14-3, 3-3 SEC)

Tennessee enters the contest on the heels of a home victory over Vanderbilt on Thursday night but has dropped two of its last three games.
UT stands 3-2 in league play with victories over No. 20 Missouri, Auburn and Vanderbilt, while it has lost to Florida and Arkansas. UK, meanwhile, beat Alabama, Georgia and Auburn (home), while falling to Auburn (road), #2/2 South Carolina and Ole Miss.
Austin Peay (4-5) vs. IPFW (7-4)

Fort Wayne, IN – The last time Austin Peay and IPFW met, it was a battle of two teams attempting to build some momentum.
IPFW came to Clarksville, having won its first game against Manchester. The Govs opened their home season after losing road games against major powers Vanderbilt and Indiana. However, it was IPFW who came away moving forward. The 80-77 road win for the Mastodons was the second in a six-game victory streak.
