APSU Men's TennisClarksville, TN – With the fall tennis schedule winding down, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s tennis will take the court one last time in 2019 when they compete at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regional, October 17th-22nd, which will be hosted by Middle Tennessee State University at the Adams Tennis Complex in Murfreesboro Tennessee.

Instant Peay Play: APSU Softball opens season looking to make postseason after two near misses

 

Legends Bank, Clarksville TNClarksville, TN – The past two seasons Austin Peay State University’s softball team went into the final weekend of the regular season with a chance to make the Ohio Valley Conference post-season tournament – only to come up short.

But as they open their 2015 regular season this weekend at the Mississippi State Bulldog Kickoff Classic, the Lady Govs hope to clear that final hurdle and make a return to the postseason.

Austin Peay Governors Baseball add in-state right-handed pitcher Ferguson to close early signing period

Austin Peay State University GovernorsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team closed the early signing period by adding its fifth pitcher – Matt Ferguson, of Arlington, who has signed a financial aid agreement, the program announced Thursday.

Ferguson, a 6-2, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, posted a 5-1 record and 3.38 ERA last season as he helped lead Arlington High School to a 33-6 record and the Class AAA State Tournament where it reached the state semifinals. He recorded 25 strikeouts in 39.1 innings pitched.

Austin Peay Governors Baseball continue stocking pitching ranks, add Parkland’s Krolikowski

Austin Peay State University GovernorsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team adds its fourth pitcher of the early signing period, with Brian Krolikowski, of Batavia, IL, signing a national letter of intent, the program announced Friday.

Krolikowski, a 6-3, 230-pound right-handed pitcher, posted a 2-1 record and 4.37 ERA in his first season at Parkland College. He registered 29 strikeouts in 35 innings.
