Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – It’s Homecoming Week for the Tennessee Volunteers as they get ready to host Charlotte on Saturday afternoon at Neyland Stadium.

Kickoff for Saturday’s Homecoming game is set for 4:00pm on the SEC Network Alternate channel. Mike Morgan (play-by-play) and Barrett Jones (analyst) will have the call with Taylor Davis reporting from the sidelines. Vol Network radio affiliates will have a live audio broadcast with Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and Brent Hubbs. Sirius (Channel 94) and XM satellite radio (Channel 190) will also carry the game.

Saturday will mark the first-ever meeting between UT and Charlotte on the gridiron. The Tennessee Vols are 1-0 against teams from Conference USA this season after defeating UTEP, 24-0, on September 15th.

UT Vols host LSU Tigers

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee returns from a two-game road stretch to play its first Saturday home game in nearly a month when it hosts LSU at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tipoff on Saturday is slated for 5:30pm ET/4:30pm CT on ESPNU.

The Vols (12-14, 5-8 SEC) have a quick turnaround after facing 14th-ranked Kentucky on Thursday night in Lexington. UT fell in that contest by an 80-70 count, and therefore splitting the season series with the Wildcats. Armani Moore recorded his second double-double in as many games against UK this season, logging 21 points and 11 rebounds on Thursday night. Kevin Punter Jr. was the only other Vol to reach double figures, finishing with 19 points.

UT Athletics Department issues Updated Safety/Entrance Information for Tonight’s Game

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Tonight’s Tennessee Men’s Basketball game against Vanderbilt remains set to tip off at 9:05pm ET/8:00pm CT at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Gates open at 7:30pm ET/6:30pm CT. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and allow extra time to get to Thompson-Boling Arena, avoiding patches of snow and ice.

While arena ramps have been treated, fans are urged to proceed with caution.

Wednesday marks the 189th meeting all-time between UT and VU in a series that dates to 1922. It is the second-longest series in Tennessee basketball history (trailing the 218 all-time meetings between the Vols and Kentucky), and UT’s 116 wins over the Commodores are its most over any opponent.

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – The 2015 calendar shuts for Tennessee basketball when it takes on Tennessee State on Tuesday at Thompson-Boling Arena in the final pre-conference contest for both programs. The Volunteers and Tigers tip off at 1:00pm ET (12:00pm CT) on the SEC Network.

The Vols (6-5) are facing its second in-state foe in as many games, coming off a 76-67 win over ETSU last week. A battle throughout, Tennessee trailed the Buccaneers by four with less than five minutes to play. What followed was a 15-2 Tennessee run — including a 9-0 spurt over the final two minutes — to seal the victory and keep the Vols a perfect 6-0 at home this season.
