Military Children Express Sacrifices Through Art, Writing during Month of the Military ChildBy Terri Moon Cronk, American Forces Press Service
The exhibit reflects the works of military children — nearly 50 in all — from elementary to high school. On the back of each work of art, the children wrote what motivated them to produce their particular work, said Cindy Simerly, marketing chief for the Military Child Education Coalition and a military spouse. ![]() Lauren Sink, a high school junior, drew this picture of her Army father returning home. Fort Campbell’s Child Youth and School Services Celebrates Month of the Military Child
They will kick off the month with their Annual Parade on April 1st at 9:30am. Children from several of Fort Campbell’s child development centers will meet at the parking lot in from of CDC #2, located at 3071 Bastogne Avenue, and participate in a parade around the parking area.
