Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s McGregor Park RiverWalk was filled with music, dancing, and fans of Santa & Mrs Claus at Tuesday’s official lighting of the city’s 2,000,000 light holiday display.
Christmas on the Cumberland kicked off its 19th year with a grand opening ceremony that began at 5:30pm.
Clarksville, TN – Tuesday night, November 22nd, hundreds of people gathers at the McGregor Park RiverWalk and Museum for the grand opening ceremony of the City of Clarksville’s 18th annual Christmas on the Cumberland.
Just before the ceremony began, those in attendance were treated to Christmas Carols by the Rossview High School Choir.
Clarksville, TN – The 56th Annual Clarksville Lighted Christmas Parade was held Saturday, December 5th, 2015. The theme this year was “Songs of Christmas”. It Started at 5:00pm.
The City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government hosts the Christmas Parade. The Grand Marshall for the parade was Rudy Kalis of Channel 4 news.
Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville held the grand opening of Christmas on the Cumberland Tuesday night, November 25th at McGregor Park. Hundreds gathered on the bank of the Cumberland River to listen singing and to see the lights come on along the riverwalk.

Elkton, KY – Christmas in Elkton will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2014 in Elkton, Kentucky. The day starts off with local businesses having open house, Christmas sales and free refreshments throughout the day. The Elkton Christmas Parade will start at 6:00pm, leaving Todd Central High School parking lot at 806 South Main Street, then going North on Hwy 181 to Public Square, exit square on West Main Street, then left on South Streets Avenue, then left on Sunset and back to TCCHS.

Fall Creek Falls State Park brings in the holidays with Christmas on the Mountain November 30th – December 2nd
Pikeville, TN – Fall Creek Falls State Park will herald in the holidays with its annual Christmas on the Mountain Celebration, slated for Friday, November 30th through Sunday, December 2nd, at the park’s Inn and Conference Center.

Fort Campbell, KY – On December 22nd, just a scant three days before Christmas 138 Soldiers returned from Iraq in what is a monumental moment for our nation; the return of the last combat troops from Iraq. It was special in another way, the Santa Claus for the City of Clarksville, along with Mrs. Claus and one of his elves had dropped by to visit with the children of the returning soldiers. Clarksville, TN – After participating in the opening of Christmas on the Cumberland on November 22nd, 2010; Santa Claus returned several times to visit with children enjoying the Christmas lights spectacular.
Clarksville Online tagged along on one of the evenings, Saturday December 16th; taking hundreds of photos of young people enjoying their visit with Clarksville, Tennessee’s Jolly Old Saint Nicholas.
Part of Santa’s visits include giving toy’s to the children under the age of 12, as measured by his 4.3′ tall candy cane. 4.3′ is the height of an average 12 year old child; though Santa does makes case by case exceptions for the taller 12 year olds. Over the last 10 years Santa Claus has given away over 70,000 toys that he and his helpers Gary and Marie Caudill have purchased specifically for this purpose.
Santa’s visits to Christmas on the Cumberland are sponsored by the Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation, the Woodlawn Papa Rock Travel Center; Clarksville Limb and Brace, and Geico Insurance.
