Clarksville, TN – Freshman running back Kentel Williams totaled a record-breaking 399 all-purpose yards, including a 97-yard kickoff return touchdown, but his effort wasn’t enough as the Austin Peay State University football team fell 67-30 against Eastern Kentucky, Saturday, in the home finale at Fortera Stadium.

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University football team racked up a school record 644 total yards of offense against Tennessee State, Saturday at Fortera Stadium, but suffered a heartbreaking 41-40 loss in the final seconds after taking the lead with 1:05 remaining on the clock.
 Austin Peay freshman quarterback JaVaughn Craig threw for 322 yards, 5 touchdowns and rushed for 144 yards in loss to Tennessee State at Fortera Stadium.

Second Half Surge not enough as APSU Football falls at UT Martin

Martin, TN – The Austin Peay State University football team outscored UT Martin 24-14 in the second half of Saturday’s Ohio Valley Conference contest, but the Govs fell 45-31 to the Skyhawks in Graham Stadium.
The Governors scored 21 of its 31 points in the fourth quarter, and racked up 414 total yards as a unit, the most since 2012 against Tennessee Tech in the furious comeback attempt.

Tennessee Tech stuns APSU Governors Football 41-7

Clarksville, TN – In front of a record crowd at Fortera Stadium of 7,507 fans, Austin Peay State University’s football team dropped its home and Ohio Valley Conference opener to Tennessee Tech, 41-7, Friday night in Fortera Stadium.
The Golden Eagles got off to a quick start offensively, scoring their first touchdown less than four minutes into the contest en route to a 28-0 halftime lead on the Govs.
