APSU Lady Govs Softball earns OVC Sportsmanship honorAPSU Sports Information
Voted on by the student-athletes and coaches of the respective sports, the team awards are bestowed upon the Conference squads deemed to have best exhibited the standards of sportsmanship and ethical behavior as outlined by the OVC and NCAA. Included in the areas for evaluation are the conduct of student-athletes, coaches, staff and administrators and fans.

Austin Peay Lady Govs Golf captures OVC Academic Award for fourth straight yearAustin Peay Sports
Lady Govs golf was one of two APSU teams to earn such distinction, joining the Governors Tennis team. The team academic achievement awards are presented annually in each OVC-sponsored sport to the member institution’s team with the greatest percentage of its eligible student-athletes who achieved a 3.25 grade point average or higher-the Lady Govs golf team had seven members earn such status while the men’s tennis team had five. «Read the rest of this article» Sections: Sports | No Comments
